A Purse just for me

I was inspired by my logo so out of it came this purse.  It is a duck cloth bag with a cotton polka dot liner with pockets (my first with pockets but it may become a feature of all my bags we will see).  The logo on front is done with felt and embroidery floss.  I am so excited to have it finished, I can't wait to go somewhere so I can carry it!

Fussy Customers

I just completed a "deal" with my most fussy customer yet!  My four year old : )  She picked out her fabric, butterflies and it had to be sparkly. 

It is my newest bag design, "purse on a string".  It is a drawstring bag meant to be worn around the wrist.

In the end it was worth it.  I finished her bag while she was at school then I loaded it up with some of her favorite things... her little dog Calie, a sippy cup of chocolate milk, and some chocolate mints.  Her face lit up when she saw it in her seat and she said, "I love it!"  Priceless!

I have a couple of new bag designs I have been working on that I will be listing on Sunday.  I am having so much fun working on bags and bags!!  So check out things on Sunday... some smaller bags to come!

SOLD!

I completed my first custom bag today!  I am so excited to ship it off!  I am ready for my next challenge.

Craft Store Chaos

I brought my little helper today and braved the craft store.  I got all giddy at rows and rows of fabrics, I was like a kid in a candy store.  After two hours we made it out with our selections.

I am excited about some new bags that are rolling around in my head that are soon to come.  I selected some new fall fabrics that should be posting on ebay next Sunday.  I can't wait to lock my self in my craft room and get some things done!!

Start at the Very Begining

This week I am working on finishing my half finished crossbody bags and my new venture....headbands.  I love to make things for my daughter and after I made her a felt flower headband I just wanted to make more!!  So I will be posting some on etsy and ebay as soon as I get them finished.  Lots to do!  But I am loving it.
